AND SITUATION
The group of stone circles known today as La
Corona de los muertos, and here The
Crowns of the Moon —the word ‘dead’
could come from an erroneous translation of the word
‘il’ which, in Basque, the principal language of the
local toponymy, in a dictionary reference and profane
simplification, means: dead -muerto-, month and moon— stands in the Valle de Hecho (Huesca).
Spanish Military Cartography maps, at a scale of 1:50,000, show this site
to stand in the area corresponding to Zuriza 28~7, with

09” N, Altitude 1,216 m, and on UTM X 687.640, Y 4.745.580.
